Acid Rain: Survival Platformer

Acid Rain

  This was originally a prototype I made for my Computer Game Design class. It initially started out as a "survival" game in which the player had to avoid the acid rain for as long as possible. The first prototype had an increasing timer to let the player know how long they've been avoiding the rain. 
   One problem with the first prototype was that there were too many safe spots, in which the player could reside and not get hit by the acid rain. To fix this, I programmed the clouds in my game to create 3 rain droplets at once. I also added a 40 second time limit, as well as two other levels, and a portal to transport players to those levels.
